Welcome to the Troop 135 website!

Troop 135 - A Backpacking Troop

We are a very active scout-led troop that meets on Monday evenings. Troop 135 holds a backpacking, camping, hiking, or other outdoor activity on the third weekend of each month.  We were the only Troop in the Pomo District to earn the National Camping Gold Award (over 50 nights of camping) for 2009.  Scouts advance from the rank of Tenderfoot to Eagle by improving outdoor skills, becoming leaders, showing responsibility, performing service and being good citizens of the community, nation and world. If you'd like more information or would like to attend one of our Troop meetings, please contact our Scoutmaster, Allen Kezer, at troop135scoutmaster@sonic.net

Another GREAT Snowshoe Backpack for 2012

Posted on Feb 28 2012 - 12:07pm

Been a little busy lately but I finally had a chance to process the photos from the Snowshoe Backpack at Castle Valley a little over a week ago. Scouts learned valuable lessons about backpack in adverse conditions and I believe they came away with the Do's/Don'ts for their trip next year! Scouts (& adults) had a great time and I'm already looking forward to next year's trip! Check the TROOP PHOTOS link to the right for the photos. Your SM.

The Troop is still looking for an accurate count of outstanding Merit Badge Books that the scouts may have. I have heard from several scouts and families.
